Well this is a rather informal post but it is so for a reason, sometimes a little change is good! These posts are now going to be more focused on updates: about writing fiction, writing non-fiction, or life when proper.
Update: New Look
Pretty sure anyone who checks this out on a regular basis has noticed that it looks a little different. This is in part because of the rest of the changes going on . Playing around a little with the aesthetics of the site has been something I had been considering for a while and the end is to make it easier to use and more streamlined. The idea is for the landing page to be more of a hub for things. Hopefully soon you will see more announcements of added pages to the site and more!
Update: New Social Media Hub
Added to the update of the site itself is adding a link to my Linktree. It’s a much more organized way to have social media and other links such as this site and the Medium blogs (more on this in a moment) in a more streamlined manner. It’s the same end as the streamlining of the site itself. Like I mentioned in the last couple of posts, I am restructuring how I use and work with all these aspects of me. I want to make my writing something more serious so making social media and online presence more accessible and streamlined is part of that.
Update: New Posts
On that note from now on I am going to be posting here more posts like this. Updates about more personal things and such. More essay like posts will now also be on Medium. Some of them will be cross posted, while others will only be posted on Medium. At the moment none are behind the paywall but with time they will be probably put in, mainly when there is a bigger back-list. So if you want to read more of the more essay like posts, feel free to go over to Medium and follow me there or save the link! This is, again, part of making my writing more a professional endeavor than just a hobby. It’s not that it isn’t a hobby, I won’t stop writing fanfics any time soon for example. But I also want to make it more serious so I am working to set this out to be more of a professional writer.
Future Plans
For now, these are the changes I am working on but…I got more planned! Some of these plans include possible publishing of short fiction, a possible newsletter, and the possibility of content for Patreon and Ko-fi when the time is right. Keep an eye on the spot marked for announcements for any changes like this!
